Concept Proposal - ‘Shelter in place’

Statement
Social isolation changes the way we see the world and ourselves.
‘Shelter in Place’ explores the transition into isolation, the physiological and phycological adaptation within, and the jarring release from it.

Experience :
When entering ‘Shelter in Place’ our vision is shocked by the lack of all but red light. At first this may be disorienting, but our eyes adapt very quickly.
Within moments we have adjusted, and the light looses its novelty.
But we have changed, and upon leaving the room we experience the same shock as when we entered. The natural light of the outside now appears distorted and alien, and we must adapt again.
